SFA Visit 3 & 4

Dear members, The SVA group is organizing a third and a fourth visit to one of the most exiting buildings in Belgium, the Sabena Flight Academy. In the first part of the visit you will get a presentation of the brand new 'SVA', the SN Virtual Academy. When you completed the theoretical and practical courses you will feel what it's like to be 'ahead of the aircraft'. After a short break I will tell you about how a real flight training is done at the SFA. This briefing will take about one hour. Afterwards we head for the Boeing 737-200 CPT where I will demonstrate you an emergency situation. Finally, a guided tour is organized where we will see all the Full Flight Simulators, Cockpit Procedure Trainers, FMGS trainers and the EVAC trainer. In total the visit will take approximately 2 hours. The previous two visits were a great success and everyone seemed to like it ! It was great to meet the other members. Only members who didn't attend the first two visits are allowed to subscribe to give everyone the chance to visit the SFA. A week before the visit you will receive an invitation letter with all the details. Subscription is done via the event section on our website. Last but not least: at the end of the visit you will have the opportunity to support our VA by giving a small donation of 5 euro.
