| Thomas Cook Virtual Airlines Belgium and SN Brussels Airlines Virtual are proud to announce cooperation on routes to Dakar and Banjul. Tour operator Thomas Cook, mother company of Thomas Cook Virtual Airlines Belgium (TCVAB), wants to strengthen it’s position on the ‘far away destinations’ during the coming summer season. Last year the company wet leased a Boeing B767 from Germany based sister airline Condor. This year TCVAB has chosen a Belgian partner to perform these flights. SN Brussels Airlines Virtual agreed to offer us seats on their flights. Both company’s point out that it does NOT concern a codeshare agreement. Thomas Cook clients are put on a seat allotment, where SN Brussels Airlines continues the normal scheduled services tot Dakar and Banjul. So basically, a client booking a holiday to one of above mentioned African destinations, will be transported with SN Brussels Airlines instead of Thomas Cook Virtual Airlines Belgium. About Thomas Cook Virtual Airlines Belgium… Thomas Cook Airlines Belgium started operations in September 2002. At this time it is ready for its big breakthrough with the start of the summer 2003. TCVAB is based on the real life Belgian charter airline Thomas Cook Airlines Belgium. TCVAB does NOT perform scheduled flights, but only operates on behalf of a tour operator. TCVAB’s fleet consists of 5 Airbus A320 aircraft. These aircraft mainly fly routes to popular holiday destinations and this summer, the company tries to strengthen it’s position on the long haul destinations. Thanks to the cooperation with SN Brussels Airlines, TCVAB now offers the Belgian passengers a service in their own language on almost every route. About SN Brussels Airlines Virtual… SN Brussels Airlines Virtual operated as Sabena VA until that real life airline sadly went bankrupt. The management kept a close eye on the evolution of the company and decided to start up SN Brussels Airlines VA when that airline was created in real life. SN Brussels Airlines Virtual is one of the most professional and polyvalent virtual airlines around. SN Brussels Airlines Virtual operates Avro Regional Jets, Airbus A319 and Airbus A330. The airline is the national carrier of Belgium and operates daily scheduled routes throughout Europe and Africa.
